Why Go: The projects selected for GoetheonMain are very diverse. Nevertheless, the artists who exhibit in the new venue of the Goethe Institute in Johannesburg have a common goal: to mediate at the interface between city and suburbs. The Goethe Institute wants to extend cultural dialogue by adding a central space in the middle of town: GoetheonMain. It is a space which aims to encourage exchange between artists and spectators of various origins. Call for program.
