Why Go: One of the best walks in the metro area, Dikmen Valley is more of a canyon with a park at the bottom. Families come here to stroll, bring their kids to the playgrounds (look for the pirate ship!), and enjoy an afternoon tea or ice cream. The park is beautifully landscaped and a pleasant escape from the usually gray scenery of Ankara. Walking trails stretch all the way through the valley, so bring your walking shoes and a snack.
