Deep inside the Earth of the Robberg Peninsula near Plettenberg Bay lies the story of life in much earlier times. Artifacts found by archaeologists at the Nelson Bay and Matjes River caves are seen as evidence that humans lived in the area as early as 200,000 years ago.
