Why Go: The tour of the Governor's residence and Conservation Hall is fascinating. The house is a beautiful design and rich in history. The China on display from several former first ladies of TN is also very interesting. The Conservation Hall in also beautiful and contains art from artist across Tennessee and floors made from trees that were brought up from the bottom of the Tennessee River. The tour is free, but you need reservations. After the tour you might want to continue down Franklin Road to Vittles for lunch.
