Why Go: Smitswinkelbaai is just out of town, and there is a luxury campsite where you can go to for a few nights to enjoy the beauty of Cape Town. To reach the beach, you have to follow an overgrown footpath. Time has stood still here; the beach is unspoilt, and the view of the lush valley is breathtaking and well worth the mission of getting there. The calm water and unspoilt nature makes for great snorkelling and scuba diving.
