Why Go: My boyfriend and I arrived in Santa Barbara in the evening thinking we could find a vacancy. There was some kind of event going on, and the places we called were booked. When we called The Upham Victorian Hotel, the gentleman said they only have the honeymoon suite available. It was a tad bit expensive, but we were desparate. We took the room, and wow what a set up they had. There was a whirl pool, balcony, kitchenette and living room. We had a great time there.
