Why Go: When Dias first set foot in Mossel Bay on Feast of St. Blaize day in 1488 he discovered a fresh water spring and called it Aguada de São Bras or translated the watering place of St Blaize. Today, more than 500 years later this spring is still running and it is situated in the Dias Museum complex.
