Why Go: Tarka Township. This little village is an example of the ingenuity of the people of yesteryear. With building material not freely available and rather expensive they found an interesting way to build their houses. Big boulders were buried under dry branches which were then set alight. As the rocks cooled down, cracks appeared that could be chiseled into building blocks. They were cemented together with clay and sand.
