Why Go: A beautiful little gem in the heart of Palm Beach County and in the middle of the intracoastal, Peanut Island is definitely a place you want to visit. To get to the island, you must have a boat, Jet Ski, or kayak, or you may take a water taxi from either the Sailfish Marina on Singer Island or the Riviera Beach Municipal Marina on 13th street in Riveria Beach. The island offers a great snorkeling area that is monitored by life guards. This is also a popular place to relax on the water or party. The island also has clean bathrooms and showers. The island may be walked and on the South end you can see the Kennedy Bunker from the 1960’s.
