Why Go: The tomb of Akbar the Great is the mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar, in Sikandra. The construction of this Mughal architectural masterpiece was started in 1600 by Emperor Akbar himself. After the death of Akbar in 1605, the tomb was completed by his son Jahangir in 1613.
