Why Go: In the Alamo City, the restaurant is located in the former space for Fonda Argentina, to the rear of the Northwoods Shopping Center. There are plenty of windows that provide natural light, and a few TVs hanging above the stocked bar were visible from most seats. Décor is plain, but the restaurant is spacious and clean, giving the spot a casual and inviting vibe. Food prices were a bit intimidating, but the portions were significant enough to share among a group. The wait staff was attentive and did not rush us through our visit. There's nothing flashy about the place. But the solid food, service and drink offerings would encourage a long, leisurely visit. Impressions: For starters, we ordered beef sweetbreads, which had a slightly crispy exterior but were tender and in no way chewy. Chips and three versions of warm salsa were served. Each salsa had nice flavor and just the right amount of heat. As an entrée, we decided on a combination plate served with cabrito (goat meat) and ch
