Why Go: Every child in the south knows the stories of Brer Rabbit and Uncle Remus written by Joel Chandler Harris. Wren's House was his home and today it is beautifully preserved and filled with his stories. Guided tours are available and storytelling by seriously gifted storytellers (It really is an art!) takes place daily at 1pm. It's only open from 10 to 2:30 each day, so keep this in mind when planning out your day.
