Why Go: According to records, the Old Quaker Meeting House, built by John Bowne, and other early Quakers, in 1694, is the oldest house of worship in the state of New York. It is also the second oldest Quaker meeting house in the nation. Listed as both a National Historic Landmark, and an Individual New York City Landmark, this home is a great look at what life looked like 300 years ago.
