Why Go: Originally built in 1920, and taken over by real estate developer George S. Kaufman in 1982, the studio has been used in dozens of Hollywood's biggest films. On occasion the studio opens it's doors, and allows the public a glimpse of life in Hollywood. If no public events are scheduled, you still have the Museum of Moving Images, and the 14 theater Movie Complex of the same name, nearby.
