Why Go: Not far away from the Springs Valley area is Spring Mill State Park. Located off of Highway 60 in Mitchell Indiana is one of the best parks in the mid-west. There is an old work grist mill and pioneer village showing how life was in the 1800's. There is a limestone inn that has much to offer, and a memorial to astronaut Gus Grissom who dies on lift off. A must see if in this area!
