Why Go: Once considered one of the 8 wonders of the world. Back in the early 1900's this was a great place to be. Some of the visitors was Al Capone, Joe Lewis and many other legends. Closed after the depression it was bought by the Jesuit Priest and later sold to Northwood Institute. In the 1970's it was closed and begin to fall into ruin, An effort to save and reopen the hotel now shows the effort of some powerful people including Bill Cook!
