Why Go: It is located in the eastern lower level of the Kalemegdan. In the 18th century it was used for gunpowder storage, but now, a stone church. Beautiful exterior, and an astonishing interior, it boasts three chandeliers, made of spent cartridges, cannon ammunition, officers’ swords and the pistols of soldiers from the Macedonian Front.
