Why Go: This is an artificial lake situated near Jamwa Ramgarh, a subdivision of Jaipur. At one time the lake was the main source of water supply to Jaipur city. The last time the lake received water was 1999 and it has been dry since 2000.[1] It is situated 32 kilometres from Jaipur. The dense forest surrounding Lake and nearby areas is habitat of wide range of Wildlife animals Lion, Chital and Neelgai being major contributors and has been declared as Wildlife sanctuary by Government of India in year 1982.
