Why Go: Jal Mahal , which means ‘Water Palace’, is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. Traditional boat-makers from Vrindavan have crafted the Rajput style wooden boats. You sit in one of these boats to reach the beautiful palace while you enjoy the view of Aravallis on one side and the Jaipur city on the other side. The beautifully designed hallways and chambers lead to the fragrant Chameli Bagh. A major effort was made to do a makeover of the laketo give it the feel and look it has today.It was possibly one of the most serene places in the city.
