Why Go: Located at about 30 kilometres away from Asenovgrad, the Natural Landmark of Belantash was created to preserve the unique rock formations that can be observed there. There are a couple of deep 'wells' with unknown origin and purpose. A lot of theories exist about Belantash - that it was a n 'airport' accommodating UFO's, that it was the temple of ancient gods etc.
